Yeh document Section 6.0 se 6.2.2 tak RDPMS Application Software ki Web Browser platform ke liye complete acceptance testing guide hai — har FRS clause ki simple bhasha mein explanation ke saath.
RDPMS Kya Hai? — Ek Aasaan Parichay
RDPMS ka full form hai: Remote Diagnostics and Predictive Maintenance System.
Indian Railways ke signaling equipment — Point Machine, Signal Lights, Track Circuits, IPS — bahut important hote hain. Agar yeh kharab ho jaayein toh train late ya accident ho sakta hai. RDPMS inhe door se monitor karta hai aur failure aane se pehle alert deta hai.

Version Number
Version Number kya hota hai?
Software ka 'edition number'. Jaise kisi book ka 1st Edition, 2nd Edition hota hai — waisi hi software ka Version 1.0, Version 2.0 hota hai.
Jab bhi software mein koi important badlaav hota hai, version number badhta hai.
Example: Version 2.0 matlab doosra major update.
Inspection mein kyun check karte hain: Confirm karna ki RDSO approved latest version hi lagaya gaya hai.
Checksum
Checksum kya hota hai?
Ek unique number/code jo software file se automatically calculate hota hai — jaise har insaan ka fingerprint unique hota hai. Agar software file mein ek bit bhi badlaav ho — accidentally ya kisi ne tamper kiya — toh checksum turant badal jaata hai.
Example: Original checksum: 7F3A9C21 —> agar file change ki: A3D8F002 (alag aa jaayega).
Inspection mein kyun check karte hain: Confirm karna ki software original hai, koi manipulation nahi hua.
Programming Language
Programming Language kya hoti hai?
Software kis 'bhasha' mein likha gaya hai — jaise Python, Java, React, Angular etc.
Web Browser applications typically React, Angular, Vue ya plain HTML/JS/CSS mein bani hoti hain.
Record isliye rakhte hain: Taaki future mein maintenance ya update karne mein help mile.
GUI (Graphical User Interface)
GUI kya hota hai?
Aisa software jisme buttons, menus, icons hote hain — aap click karke kaam karte hain. Jaise Google ya banking website use karte hain — bina kuch type kiye bhi kaam ho jaata hai.
Web browser RDPMS: Ek website ki tarah hogi — koi app install karne ki zaroorat nahi. Sirf browser mein URL daalo aur kaam shuru karo.
OTP (One Time Password)
OTP kya hota hai?
Ek temporary 4-6 digit code jo registered mobile number par SMS ya email se aata hai. Sirf ek baar aur kuch minutes ke liye valid hota hai.
RDPMS Web Login mein: Login karte waqt username + password ke baad OTP bhi verify karna hoga — taaki sirf authorized person hi login kare.
Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
RBAC kya hota hai?
Har employee ko sirf uski zaroorat ka access dena.
Example: ESM sirf apne station ka data dekhe, DSTE apne division ka, PCSTE poore zone ka.
Web application mein: Login hone ke baad dashboard alag-alag dikhega — role ke hisaab se sirf relevant options aur data dikhega.
API (Application Programming Interface)
API kya hoti hai?
Do softwares ke beech ka 'darwaaza' ya 'bridge'. Jaise UPI payment mein aapka app bank ke saath baat karta hai — kuch directly nahi dikh raha, par connection hai.
RDPMS mein use: RDPMS Web Application aur SMMS (Railway maintenance system) ke beech data share karne ke liye API use hoti hai.
Interoperability
Interoperability kya hota hai?
Ek vendor ke equipment (Station Gateway) ka doosre vendor ki RDPMS Application se kaam karna.
Example: Vendor-A ka Station Gateway, Vendor-B ki Web Application se baat kar sake.
Kyun zaroori hai: Railway kisi ek vendor par dependent na rahe. Alag vendors ka equipment ek saath use ho sake.
SECTION 6.0 — RDPMS Application Software Testing
Section 6.0 ka Uddeshya (Scope: Web Browser Only)
Is section mein RDPMS Application Software ki poori acceptance testing hoti hai — yahan sirf Web Browser platform ke liye.
Testing teen hisson mein:
1. Identification (6.1): Software ka record — version, checksum, language.
2. Visual Inspection (6.2.1): Web application ka look, browser compatibility aur UI check karna.
3. Performance & Functional Testing (6.2.2): Web application ke saare features verify karna.
Web Browser Testing kaise hogi:
Supported browsers: Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Safari.
Access: URL browser mein type karke — koi app install karne ki zaroorat nahi.
Device: Any laptop or desktop computer with internet connection.
SECTION 6.1 — Identification of the Application
Testing shuru karne se pehle, vendor web application ki poori jaankari record karata hai. Inspecting official yeh verify karta hai.

SECTION 6.2 — Test Procedure for RDPMS Application Software (Web)
Section 6.2 mein kya hota hai?
6.2.1 — Visual Inspection: Web application browser mein open karke dekhna — look, UI layout, navigation theek hai.
6.2.2 — Performance & Functional Testing: Web application ke andar ke saare features actually test karna — alerts, login, reports, user roles etc.
SECTION 6.2.1 — Visual Inspection (Web Browser)
Web application browser mein open karke yeh check kiya jaata hai ki app sahi browsers par kaam karti hai, uska design clear hai, aur use karna aasaan hai.
Testing Se Pehle Setup (Mandatory Steps):
Vendor ka RDPMS web application cloud server par host hona chahiye — live data ke saath testing hogi.
Web application in chaar browsers par open karein aur basic check karein: Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Safari.
Naye users register karein aur FRS para 11.5 ke anusar user-wise role-based access configure karein.
Testing ke liye different roles ke users banaayein: ESM, JE, SSE, DSTE, Sr. DSTE, CSTE, PCSTE.
Clause 11.1 — Web Application Ki Buniyaad
FRS Clause 11.1 — Poora Matlab Simple Bhasha Mein
RDPMS Web Application ek GUI-based system honi chahiye — matlab screen par buttons, menus, icons wali website.
Sabse important concept — Interoperability (Aapas mein baat karne ki kshamata):
Yeh standard data format ek 'common language' ki tarah hai. Jaise poori duniya mein English ek common language hai, RDPMS mein Annexure-B ka data format ek common language hai.
Faayda: Vendor-A ka Station Gateway, Vendor-B ki Web Application se bhi data exchange kar sakta hai. Railway kisi ek vendor par dependent nahi hogi.
Real-time secure transmission: Data bina der ke aur securely travel kare — web application par live update aate rahe.
User-friendly interface: Monitoring, diagnostics aur predictive maintenance ke liye samajhne mein aasaan interface.
TEST: RDPMS Web Application ka URL Chrome, Edge, Firefox aur Safari mein open karein — chaaaron par kaam karna chahiye.

Clause 11.4 — Server Resources Kitne Use Ho Rahe Hain
FRS Clause 11.4 — Poora Matlab Simple Bhasha Mein
Jis server par RDPMS web application chalta hai, uss server ke teen main resources hote hain:
- CPU/Processor: Server ka 'brain' — calculations karta hai.
- RAM: Server ki short-term memory — kaam karte waqt data yahan rehta hai.
- Storage/Disk: Server ka long-term data store karne wali jagah.
Niyam: RDPMS application normally in teeno mein se koi bhi 70% se zyaada use nahi karna chahiye.
Udaharan: Agar server mein 8GB RAM hai, toh RDPMS normally maximum 5.6GB RAM use kare — baaki 2.4GB reserve rahe.
Yeh kyun zaroori hai: Agar server 100% use mein aa jaaye toh system slow ho jaata hai ya crash kar sakta hai — web page load nahi hoga, alerts late aayenge.
Yeh kahan dikhega: RDPMS web application ke Dashboard par CPU %, RAM % aur Storage % dikhna chahiye (FRS Annexure-E).
Visual Check: RDPMS Web Application ke Dashboard screen par — CPU utilization %, RAM utilization % aur Storage utilization % clearly dikh raha hai ya nahi?
Clause 11.5 — Web Browser Support aur Lifetime Service
FRS Clause 11.5 — Web ke liye Matlab
RDPMS web application laptop/desktop ke web browser mein accessible honi chahiye — koi extra software install karne ki zaroorat nahi.
Browser compatibility: Application Chrome, Edge, Firefox aur Safari — chaaaron major browsers par kaam kare. Koi bhi browser-specific issue nahi hona chahiye.
Lifetime Support kya hota hai:
Aaj Chrome 120 hai, kal Chrome 140 ya naya browser aa sakta hai. Vendor ki zimmedari hai ki woh RDPMS web application ko hamesha latest browser versions ke saath compatible rakhega.
License zimmedari: Agar web application ke saath koi paid service (jaise cloud hosting, database) use ho rahi hai, toh uski cost bhi vendor uthayega — Railway nahi.
Yeh Railway ke liye faaydemand hai: Koi alag software install karne ya update karne ki jhanjhat nahi. Browser auto-update hota hai — app automatically compatible rehti hai.

Test — User Friendly Web Interface (Clause 11.9)
FRS Clause 11.9 — Poora Matlab Simple Bhasha Mein
Web application ka design aisa hona chahiye ki ek ESM (Electronic Signal Maintainer) — jo shayad zyada computer-savvy na ho — bhi aasaani se use kar sake.
Sirf table ya numbers dikhana kaafi nahi — equipment ke parameters circuit diagram form mein bhi dikhane chahiye. Jaise relay circuit ka live diagram jisme live values show ho rahi hoon — yeh maintainer ko zyada asan se samajh aata hai.
Standard UI template FRS Annexure E & G mein diya gaya hai — sabhi vendors ka web interface usi template jaisa hona chahiye.

Yeh section RDPMS web application ke andar ke saare features ki actual testing karta hai. Har test ke saath related FRS clause ki explanation bhi di gayi hai.
Test 1 — GUI Based Web Application (Clause 11.1)
Is test mein kya check karte hain?
Confirm karna ki RDPMS web application kisi bhi browser mein URL daalne se open ho jaati hai aur ek proper login interface milta hai.
Koi extra software install karne ki zaroorat na ho — browser hi kaafi ho.
Yeh sabse basic aur pehla test hai.

RDPMS web application mein login karne ke liye sirf username aur password kaafi nahi:
Step 1: Username aur password enter karo.
Step 2: OTP aayega registered mobile number par — woh bhi enter karo.
Step 3: Browser/Session authenticate ho jaati hai.
Agle baar: Usi device/browser par auto-login available ho sakta hai.
Sirf authorized log: Sirf wahi log login kar sakte hain jinke mobile numbers/email IDs RDPMS database mein pehle se registered hain. Koi bhi anjaana person login ki koshish kare toh reject ho jaayega.
Clause 11.8 — Ek Account Se Limited Access

Ek user account (ek mobile no. ya email ID) se ek waqt mein:
- 1 Mobile App (Android/iOS) par login allowed
- 1 Desktop/Laptop Web Browser par login allowed
Agar teesre device/browser session se login ki koshish ho: Application allow nahi karegi — error message dikhayegi.
Exception: Agar Zonal Railway chahaye toh multiple access allow kar sakti hai — yeh configurable hai.

Level 1 — HQ Level (PCSTE/CSTE/CSE):
Poore zone ka data dekh sakte hain. Users assign/remove kar sakte hain. Reports generate kar sakte hain.
Lekin: Direct control functions nahi (koi command bhejana etc.).
Level 2 — Division Level (Sr. DSTE/DSTE):
Apne division ka data. Users assign/remove, monitoring, reports. Control nahi.
Level 3 — Station Level (SSE/JE/ESM):
Apne station ka data. Alerts acknowledge karein. Reports generate karein. Control functions bhi.
Lekin: Users assign/remove nahi kar sakte.

Sirf limited monitoring. Koi reports, control ya user management nahi.

Test 6 — Failure & Predictive Alert Logic on Web App (Clauses 11.1, 11.2 & 11.3)
Clause 11.1 mein alert ke baare mein kya hai?
RDPMS web application real-time data receive karke monitoring kare. Koi abnormality ho toh alert generate kare aur turant staff ke web dashboard par dikhaye.
Clause 11.2 — AI/ML se Predictive Maintenance
FRS Clause 11.2 — Yeh sabse important clause hai
RDPMS sirf data dikhane wala system nahi hai — yeh ek intelligent system hai.
Do tarah ke alerts web application par dikhte hain:
1. Failure Alert: Equipment ABHI kharab ho gayi hai — turant action lo.
2. Predictive Alert: Data dekhkar RDPMS predict karta hai ki equipment jald kharab hone waali hai — pehle se maintain karo.
Prediction kaise hoti hai: Machine Learning (ML) aur Artificial Intelligence (AI) models use hote hain. Yeh models past data se seekhte hain — jaise ek doctor past X-rays dekh kar bimari diagnose karta hai.
Alert mein cause bhi hota hai: 'Point Machine ka motor worn out ho raha hai' ya 'Track Circuit ka resistance abnormal hai' — isse ESM seedha sahi jagah jaake fix karta hai.
Note: Saara AI/ML logic RDPMS Application (cloud server) mein run hoga. Station Gateway sirf data packets forward karta hai (Annexure-B format mein).
Clause 11.3 — Web Par Alert Time Delay

Koi event (jaise relay pickup/drop) Station Gateway mein capture hone ke baad:
- Cloud server par data jaata hai.
- AI/ML logic process hota hai.
- Alert generate hota hai.
- Web application ka dashboard update hota hai.
Maximum acceptable time: Normally 1 minute ke andar alert web application Dashboard par update ho jaana chahiye (FRS Annexure-D para 18).
Testing: Timer start karo jab Test Jig se event generate karo — note karo kitne seconds mein web dashboard par alert aaya.
Test Procedure:
Testing official randomly 2 failure aur 2 predictive alerts choose karega — Signal, Point Machine, Track Circuit se. Test Jig se woh events generate kiye jaayenge jo Annexure-C ke logics ke anusar un alerts ko trigger karein. Web application par alert aane ka time note karein.

Important Rule (Annexure-D para 13.1): Ek asset par ek baar predictive alert web dashboard par push ho jaane ke baad — jab tak feedback nahi diya jaata, uss asset par doosra predictive alert push nahi hoga. Haan, agar beech mein failure aa jaaye toh Failure Alert zaroor push hoga.

Feedback ke 4 options web UI mein:
T = True: Alert bilkul sahi tha, cause bhi match kiya.
PT = Partially True: Failure hua lekin RDPMS ka cause site par nahi mila.
F = False: Site par koi failure nahi tha — alert galat tha.
M = Maintenance: Alert maintenance activity ki wajah se trigger hua.
PT/F process (web par):
Vendor ko notification jaata hai. Vendor web portal par apne remarks deta hai. JE/SSE web application mein dono ke remarks dekh kar final feedback decide karta hai.

Test 8 — Cause Code Verification on Web (Annexure-C)
Cause Code kya hota hai aur Web Application mein kahan dikhta hai?
Cause code ek short unique identifier hai jo web application par alert ke saath dikhta hai.
Woh batata hai ki equipment kyon fail hua ya kyon fail hone waali hai.
Example: Point Machine failure causes:
- Motor worn out
- Mechanical obstruction
- Power supply issue
- Wiring loose
Har cause ka ek unique code hota hai (Annexure-C mein defined).
Web Application par: Alert tile/card mein cause code clearly dikhna chahiye. Alert History report mein bhi cause code hona chahiye.
Test mein: Minimum 5 alag-alag cause codes ko data simulation se verify kiya jaayega.

Maintenance Mode — Web Application Par Kaise Use Karte Hain?
Problem: Jab maintenance chal rahi ho, parameters normal range se bahar jaate hain — RDPMS false alerts generate karta rehta hai.
Solution: Web application mein 'Maintenance Mode' feature. ESM web browser mein:
- Asset select kare.
- 'From Date & Time' aur 'To Date & Time' daalein.
- 'Activate' button click kare.
Result: Us asset ke alerts band ho jaate hain maintenance period mein.
Auto-disable: End time par maintenance mode khud off ho jaata hai.
Reminder: Agar mode active raha aur time zyaada set kiya ho — RDPMS web application par regular reminder alert aata hai ki 'Maintenance mode active hai'.
Early clear: Table mein active entries dikhti hain — unke saamne clear button hota hai agar pehle band karna ho.
